Nigerians on social media are presently criticizing the recently held concert by the Marlian king Naira Marley.
On Saturday, 13th of June Naira Marley had held a concert in Abuja, despite the present ban on gatherings and events with more than 20 people.
This act, which a lot of people have termed reckless and irresponsible, is presently punishable by Nigeria considering the coronavirus pandemic.
We have already seen the consequences that come with flouting the rules in the lives of other people such as Nigerian celebrities Funke Akindele Bello and her husband Abdul Bello, who were punished by the Lagos state government for supposedly flouting the law after they had a house party in celebration of JJCSkillz birthday.
For this reason, Nigerians are demanding that the NCDC and Lagos State Government give Naira Marley the same treatment they gave the Nollywood actress and her husband.
Nigerians on social media are demanding that Soapy crooner and the organizers of the event in Abuja be arrested and face due consequences of their actions.
Read reactions below;
Arrest Naira Marley and the organizers of the Jabi Lake concert now. This insensitivity cannot be overlooked.

This unfortunate concert by Naira Marley was put together by Play Network Africa, Traffic Bar, El'Carnival and was proudly sponsored by Glenfiddich.
Silverbird Entertainment Centre was the venue while Nairabox and Ariiya sold the tickets.

Injustice: We did it against Funke Akindele, we must do it against Naira Marley also even if you are a Marlian.
Else you are worse than Buhari.

Naira Marley was at Funke Akindele’s house during total lockdown.
He was at Abuja during interstate ban.
He performed at a concert even though it’s prohibited at the moment.
